Big B jokes he completed his Bachelors degree without knowing what it meant

In the September 30 episode of the reality TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati season 16, host and superstar Amitabh Bachchan revealed the marks he scored in mathematics during his graduation. While discussing this with contestant Kirti, a banker, he also admitted that he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree without knowing what B Sc stood for.
After presenting a mathematics question to the contestant, Amitabh Bachchan recollected his college days and shared that he got very poor marks in B Sc and that he never understood Science during his graduation. He said, “I did B Sc without knowing what it was. I scored well in Science and hence applied for it. I had always heard that there is scope in science. In just 45 minutes, it changed everything. First time I failed. Then when I attempted with great difficulty, I scored 42 per cent (sic).”

The question posed to Kirti was worth Rs 5000. It asked, “If you take 25 per cent of a deck of 52 playing cards, how many cards will you have?” The options were: A) 12, B) 13, C) 10, and D) 11. The correct answer is B) 13.
Amitabh Bachchan, meanwhile, remains one of the industry’s busiest actors. He was last seen in Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi drama Kalki, and his performance was appreciated by all. He will next be seen in Vettaiyan along with Rajinikanth.
